Free NHS Sexual Health Services
The NHS provides free and confidential sexual health services including:

- PEP (emergency HIV medication after potential exposure)

- Hepatitis vaccinations for those eligible

PrEP (HIV Prevention)
PrEP is a medication that is highly effective at preventing HIV when taken correctly. It is available free on the NHS for people who meet the eligibility criteria after an assessment at a sexual health clinic. Regular HIV and STI testing is required while taking PrEP.
If you don't have symptoms, you may be eligible to order a free home STI testing kit online for infections such as:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- HIV
- Syphilis
Results are confidential and, if needed, treatment can then be arranged.
